  16.   There is sporadic service around the US and in Britain, from what I 
  17. have read.  A recent article said that Internet access by cable companies 
  18. will ahve a major push in about a year and a half (mid '97).  My local 
  19. cable company has been replacing wire cable with fiber optic cable, but 
  20. only on the main trunks, not going up to every house.
